I have chosen to use NARS as my brand as I am familiar with the products they offer and the general style and aesthetic of the brand. I also really like the history of the brand and the founder and creative director Francois Nars is a personal inspiration of mine which I will be writing about in following posts. For this project I have also purchased the latest make-up book by Francois Nars called Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself which I think will be great to look through and to help me with my research. As well as the reasons above I have also noticed a lot of great looks at SS16 fashion shows where the make-up has been created using NARS and by NARS artists which inspired me to pick them as a brand to use.
